Well, I didn't succeed in my goal for this week. I'm mostly done one chapter, but not the two I'd aimed for. I've just been sluggish. Still, I don't think that two chapters a week is an unreasonable goal. I'll get back into the swing of things.
Karma just came home from the vet this morning. He's just had The Operation, if you know what I mean. The big snip. Rhymes with tutored. I missed the little bugger last night, so I'm sure glad to have him back now. I treated him to a plate of tuna, which he woofed in less than a minute. That's my boy!

One chapter is pretty good, I'd say.
Karma is a tuna guy, huh? George, the cat who until recently owned me, only liked yellowfin tuna. Until George I hadn't realized cats differentiate between tuna species.
Glad to hear his operation went well.
As Bill the Cat (via the "Bloom County" comic) says for PAWS, "Neuter is Cuter."
"The Wooden Racist" should be the title of your next novel, and I bet this time nobody could say anything bad. Btw the name is pretty funny!! :-)
Thanks, Wendy! Karma is back to his old self now, so no harm done. I am curious to see how his tastes will develop - our last cat, The Moosh, loved seafood but wasn't so crazy about beef, chicken or turky. What will Karma's preferences be?
Thanks for your comment, Justine. Maybe I should use Wooden Racist as a title, perhaps even a new blog! As a novel title, hmm... I'll get back to you when I have a story that matches it.
